Letter from the President
The National Kitchen & Bath Association is an international, non-profit trade association with more than 40,000 members. The NKBA is also the proud owner of the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show and Conference (K/BIS), the world's largest kitchen and bath industry show. As 2008 NKBA President, I am honored to be leading this organization, which represents the finest professionals across all segments of our industry.
The NKBA continues to experience phenomenal success with record growth in membership and participation in our educational programs, chapter activities, and research initiatives, as well as an aggressive marketing campaign to increase consumer awareness of NKBA members.
As we strengthen our presence, increase consumer awareness, and expand services, the NKBA will research development of global opportunities and look at expanding programs to meet the needs of the international community. We will also explore the possibility of creating partnerships abroad in an effort to increase recognition worldwide.
Additionally, the NKBA will strive to become a primary force in the Sustainability Field. With global warming weighing on people's minds, the NKBA and its members will continue to focus more on earth-friendly products and methods moving forward.
