Q: What inspired you to study kitchen/bath design?
A: I was interested in interior design as a teenager, but my life wound up taking on a very different course. Twenty years later, I woke up and decided that it wasn't too late to go back to school. I feel that the kitchen and bath are the two areas of every home that most impact families, relationships, and physical well-being. If the home environment is well-designed, efficient, and healthy, then I hope and believe that the occupants of such an environment will be happy and healthy.

Q: What are your future plans?
A: I definitely want to become NKBA certified, starting with the AKBD exam. I also hope to someday open my own high-end bath showroom.
