NKBA T-Shirt Design Competition Rules, Entry, and Voting
The National Kitchen & Bath Association wants students at NKBA accredited and supported colleges to design something other than kitchens and baths. We'd like students to design t-shirts for the 2009 Kitchen/Bath Industry Show that capture the theme of the kitchen or bath as the "Heart of the Home" in creative, eye-catching ways.
Five runners-up will each receive a $100 scholarship, while the winning designer will receive a $500 scholarship. The finalists will be selected by the NKBA, and industry professionals will vote for their favorites right here on NKBA.org/tshirt. The design that receives the most votes will be printed on t-shirts sold at K/BIS® and elsewhere, with proceeds benefitting NKBA student chapters.
Key Dates and Facts

- Only students enrolled in kitchen and bath design programs accredited or supported by the NKBA may enter.
- Entries must be received by January 9, 2009.
- Only entries sent via mail will be accepted.
- Entries will become the property of the NKBA and will not be returned.
- Winners will be notified by March 31, 2009.
- The design must fit onto an 11 x 11-inch printable area.
- The design must show the kitchen or bath as the "Heart of the Home."
- Finalists will be selected based on their designs' creativity, originality, and how well they express the theme "Heart of the Home."
